BREAKING NEWS.... IVF(In Vitro Fertilization) !!! Commonly known as Test Tube baby in govt.setup !!!...in Bangladesh..!!!...with low cost !!!..without the the help of foreign expertise!!! It was dream. But our Chairman and Departmental head  Prof.Jesmin Banu madam did it for the first time in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Department of BSMMU with her whole team.After successfull COH(controlled ovarian hyper stimulation) of our two patients (mrs x ,age 29yrs and mrs y 38yrs old )OPU(ovum pick up) were done on 27th June 2019 .A memorable day ..for BSMMU....for Bangladesh...for our subfertile couples who unable to do ivf in private sector or abroad. Our madam did it meticulously and successfully. From one patient 8(eight) and from another pt 2(two) numbers of ovum were pick up. Among those Fertilization take place...7 from 1st pt and 2 from 2nd pt...what a surprising results with the help of almighty ALLAH .Thanks madam for her tremendous labours for setup all instruments in our IVF lab.she did hard work since last 2 months with her whole faculty...REI students..sisters...stuff. Embryos transfer will be held on tomorrow . Please pray for our patients..for us..for our gorgeous and dynamic CHAIRMAN PROF.JESMINE BANU madam ....for Good News .
